Holy hell I just realized that it's been over a year since I last wrote in my journal. I guess it's time for a life update. As of last Friday, I put my two week notice in for the toxic grocery store that I worked at. About two weeks ago I was given a shit show of a review to which my department head and my new kitchen manager slandered my character by grouping me in with the three Asian cooks, by calling this poor boy dumb and stupid. I have never name called and told both Managers that to be grouped in with the other three is highly insulting. I infact have spent many hours trying to raise this boy's self esteem only to have the three cooks tear him back down. In this review I was also told I wasn't worth holding the full time position, but I would get it eventually. I unfortunately can't wait until eventually to get here and told both managers not to be surprised if I went elsewhere for full time. Over the last 5 weeks I've dealt with the husband and wife duo going on vacation and being screamed at by one of the cooks. She actually took it too far two weeks ago, by getting in my face and screaming at me because I told her to cut the shit talking on my department and the guy that sub cooks. Apparently by sticking up for him makes him my boyfriend. Who knew? Well she took it further by telling me that I am being stupid and I have no control over myself, because I'm apparently dating that guy and he's not divorced. We aren't and haven't ever dated. We were good friends, but our friendship is now strained because of her.

Now last week I applied for a new job. I applied on Monday and got the call on Tuesday when HR was off for the day. I called back Wednesday and interviewed the same day and found out Thursday that I got the job. Friday I put my two weeks in and pissed my management off. Lol I guess they didn't believe that I would actually find a full time position outside the company and it didn't take me long either! So next week on the first of the month I will be starting my orientation for Dietary. I'm pretty excited for the new journey and that I get to tell my old place of employment to go Fuck themselves. Lol so that's my life update for now!
